Job summary

Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation is seeking a Budget Operations Specialist under the CPSO to coordinate operational, budgetary, fiscal and administrative aspects in support of multiple departments. You will develop and analyze departmental budgets across cost centers, monitor expenditures, and produce reports to inform leadership decisions.

The role emphasizes data-driven analysis, dashboards, and collaboration with the Senior Manager to ensure continuity of operations and policy implementation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or finance or related field.
• Minimum four (4) years’ experience managing multi-cost center budgets, tracking expenditures, reporting results and trends.
• Related, relevant, and/or direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational requirements indicated above.

Responsibilities

• Develops, analyzes, and maintains departmental annual budgets across multiple cost centers.
• Monitors expenditures; verifies invoices against budget, PO, and contracts; prepares monthly expenditure reports.
• Performs what-if analyses and recommends data-driven strategies to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
• Drafts, formats, and revises internal documents; maintains databases and dashboards for reporting and decision-making.
• Collaborates with the Senior Manager and leadership to ensure continuity of operations and support policy implementation.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support department operations.
