Job summary

The Investment Operations Analyst position is based with the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians in Irvine, CA, supporting the Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation (YSMN) Sovereign Wealth Fund. The role partners with the Investment Operations Associate to manage investment flows, documentation, reporting, and capital movements, while aiding preparation of reports for the Investment Board.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration required.
• Minimum one year of experience assisting in the administration of an institutional investment portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily and monthly reconciliation of investment flows and balances with the Investment Operations Associate and custodians.
• Assists in quarterly performance reporting to the Investment Board.
• Facilitates setup and funding of new investments with investment managers, counsel, and custodians.
• Coordinates funding and distributions from investment managers with custodians and internal teams.
• Facilitates wind-down exits of terminated investments with managers and custodians.
• Updates and develops templates to improve investment operations and fund management processes.
• Performs other duties to support efficient department operations.
