Job summary

Bowdoin College is seeking a Budget and Financial Analyst to join the Treasurers Office in Brunswick, Maine. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, partnering with senior leaders to inform strategic decisions and optimize endowment and operating funds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• MBA and Workday Adaptive Planning Certification and/or Workday Financials Reporting Certification strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail; ability to communicate financial information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive budget and financial analysis, including variance reporting, forecasting, and scenario modeling.
• Partner with Controllers' Office to ensure accurate integration and reconciliation of budget data between Workday modules.
• Prepare budget presentations for senior leaders and Board discussions; support annual budget process.
• Serve as a resource for budget managers, guiding expenditures across operating, gift, and endowment funds.
