Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years in college or large nonprofit budgeting; 3+ years in public accounting is acceptable.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to present complex data clearly.

Responsibilities

• Participates in all budget process steps, including presentations and drafting sections of the operating budget.
• Partner with Controller's Office to integrate budget data between Workday modules.
• Perform budget-to-actual variance analysis, forecasting, scenario modeling, and ad hoc analyses.
• Serve as campus resource on operating, gift, endowment fund spending questions.
• Review budget changes and journal entries with VP Finance & Administration and Assistant Treasurer.
