Job summary

C/A Design, Inc., part of The Heico Companies, is seeking a Business Unit Controller to lead the finance function for Exeter, NH and Raleigh, NC sites. You will guide budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support program operations and strategic initiatives.

Reporting to the VP of Finance for the Thermal Solutions Segment, this role requires strong leadership, deep accounting knowledge, and collaboration with site leaders to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance as a minimum; MBA or CPA highly desirable.
• 15+ years' progressive accounting/finance experience reflecting increasing responsibility.
• 5+ years' leadership experience in a multi-site manufacturing facility, AS9100 preferred.
• Strong cost accounting, general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Close monthly financial accounting and year-end cycles to meet corporate deadlines.
• Prepare Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
• Coordinate all general ledger activities and inter-company transactions.
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable with Segment Shared Services.
• Develop rolling forecasts and improve forecasting models for accuracy.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and maintain internal control environment.
• Present metrics and financial data to VP of Finance and leadership.
• Lead finance and operations teams across Exeter, NH and Raleigh, NC sites.
