Job summary

Strategic Factory, based in Owings Mills, MD, seeks a Project Manager, Branded Merchandise to manage orders and support operations in the branded merchandise department. You’ll design projects, manage client orders, and collaborate with sales, creative, production, and operations to align with client brands and budgets.

You will serve as a strategic advisor to clients, translating brand objectives into cohesive merchandise programs while ensuring exceptional service and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in branded merchandise or related industry.
• Strong customer service background with client-facing success.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred; High school diploma required.
• Understanding of sourcing, vendor management, pricing, and production workflows.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple programs simultaneously.
• Experience with an ERP system preferred.
• Proficiency with computers, data entry, internet searches, MS Office, and email.
• Strategic thinker with a creative mindset.
• Passion for branding and creating meaningful brand experiences.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor to clients, recommending merchandise solutions that drive awareness, loyalty, and ROI.
• Translate brand guidelines and campaign objectives into cohesive merchandise assortments and programs.
• Research branded merchandise for customers as requested.
• Estimate cost analyses and communicate with customers through the ERP system.
• Articulate strategic rationale, product selections, timelines, and cost structures.
• Create decks, mockups, and program summaries with creative teams.
• Collaborate with sales, creative, production, and operations to design programs.
• Ensure team meets deadlines and quality standards.
• Partner with sales to support new business development.
• Collaborate with sourcing, purchasing, and operations to ensure feasibility and margins.
• Provide strategic guidance to the sales team and contribute to best practices.
