Transmaritime,-Inc. is seeking a Head of Business Operations in El Paso, TX to serve as the strategic and administrative right hand to the General Branch Manager.

This role strengthens planning capacity through supplier management, financial analysis, market assessment, and key relationships within the border-crossing environment. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree and 5–7 years of experience, with strong CBP/FTZ knowledge and vendor management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; postgraduate studies or certifications in finance, intl trade, or customs are a plus.
• 5–7 years of experience; advanced level
• Strong knowledge of CBP / FTZ regulations and vendor management

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and strategic support to the General Branch Manager, complementing planning and decision support.
• Manage and evaluate the branch's supplier and vendor base with performance metrics.
• Prepare supplier benchmarking and cost/service comparisons for negotiations.
• Monitor vendor performance and contract compliance; flag deviations and actions.
• Conduct cost-versus-revenue analysis to identify margin drivers.
• Prepare financial reviews to support monthly budget and revenue targets.
• Collaborate with accounting for accurate cost allocation.
• Develop dashboards for cost-performance and margin trends.
• Maintain relationships with CBP and regulatory authorities for compliance.
• Engage with bonded warehouses and industry partners for collaboration opportunities.
• Conduct market reviews to identify opportunities and risks.
• Analyze operational opportunities and present feasibility assessments.
• Support safety performance by monitoring KPIs and coordinating with HSE.
• Evaluate capital investments with cost-benefit analysis.
• Support regulatory compliance planning (CBP, FTZ).
• Oversee data integrity and analytics tools for forecasting.
• Prepare periodic analyses and recommendations for the Branch Manager.
• Track maintenance programs and asset schedules.
• Monitor core systems (TMS, WMS) performance and lead improvements.
• Define and report KPIs for productivity and service levels.
