Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process sales orders in CRM from complex international agreements and amendments.
• Create quotes and opportunities in Salesforce to match contracts and billing schedules.
• Communicate with internal/external stakeholders on billing/invoicing matters.
• Manage billing queues in SFDC and Oracle.
• Audit and reconcile invoicing, credits, and rebills as needed.
• Prepare billing and sales reconciliations and reports.
• Support month-end accruals and close activities.
• Partner with Collections to resolve billing issues.

Job description

Cornerstone OnDemand is seeking a Senior Billing Specialist to join our Order to Cash team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, detail oriented, honest, hardworking individual, able to multi-task and successfully communicate with internal departments and management on a daily basis.

In this role you will...

• Process sales orders in our CRM system from complex, international customer agreements (including amendments and corrections)
• Creation of quotes and opportunities in salesforce to match contract amendments and match billing schedule requirements
• Communicate regularly with internal and external individuals as it relates to billing/invoicing activities
• Participate in working the billing ops queue in SFDC and oracle
• Manage e-invoicing requirements including reconciliation of payment applications, error review and credit/rebill as required
• Ensure invoicing to customers is performed timely and accurately
• Investigate and resolve billing queries
• Audit and review sales orders
• Issue refunds and billing adjustments
• Review unbilled items and contracts at month end and calculate and enter accruals, assist with month end responsibilities
• Prepare billing reports, sales reports and reconciliations
• Assist with month end responsibilities
• Partner with the Collections Team to identify billing issues and resolutions
• Participate in updating billing policies and procedures
• Assist in special projects as needed
• Engage in identifying and implementing process improvements
• Consideration for privacy and security obligations
