B&H Photo Video in New York is seeking a Bidder to study bids and set competitive prices. Under supervision, you will collaborate with the Buying department, Product Specialists, and Pricing Experts to maximize profitability. The role requires strong pricing knowledge, data analysis, and teamwork.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of related experience, proficiency with MS Office, and a deep familiarity with B&H's product lines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related experience.
• Proficient with MS Office programs.
• Strong knowledge of B&H product lines.
• Understanding pricing structures and manufacturer incentives.
• Analytical thinking and problem solving.
• Excellent interpersonal skills within a team.

Responsibilities

• Researches optimal pricing solutions for all received bids
• Identifies product replacements when requested item is unavailable
• Coordinates with product specialists, buyers, and pricing experts when necessary
• Returns signed bids
• Assess the context of the bid to maximize profitability
• Understand the customer bid history and applies that knowledge
