Job summary

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of bid management, pursuit management, sales operations, proposal management, project management, deal support, or a closely related role.

Responsibilities

• Support Sales and the opportunity owner in understanding, shaping, and qualifying the opportunity.
• Research the client, objectives, competitive landscape, and information to inform sales strategy.
• Organize and facilitate qualification, strategy, and best practice sessions.
• Support opportunity data in Salesforce or comparable CRM tools.
• Maintain focus on deal construct, qualification criteria, investments, and success conditions.
• Build and maintain the detailed bid plan, milestones, dependencies, action owners, and delivery dates.
• Estimate resources and effort, initiate resource requests, and surface gaps early.
• Coordinate engagement from Legal, Pricing, Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Delivery, and others.
• Track risks, issues, actions, and decisions; drive closure or escalation.
• Assist in developing and executing the close plan with the owner.
• Guide team on sales processes, governance, policies, and approvals.
• Maintain cadence of pursuit meetings, reviews, status updates, and decisions points.
• Adapt the plan when priorities or timelines change.
• Coordinate response development, reviews, clarifications, and submission with Proposal Lead.
• Own client communications and records of documents shared.
• Prepare for client workshops, presentations, clarifications, and negotiations.
• Track commitments and agreements during negotiation and precontract activity.
• Coordinate handoff to account and delivery teams for contract startup.
• Complete content submissions, lessons learned, and win/loss reviews.
