Job summary

National Vision is seeking a Business Intelligence Manager to design, develop, and deliver enterprise reporting and analytics solutions across our multi-unit optical retail platform.

You will own Power BI dashboards, KPI definitions, and data models while partnering with field and corporate stakeholders to drive data-driven decisions. This role focuses on governance, adoption, and scalable reporting in a modern analytics ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Analytics, or related field.
• 7+ years experience in business intelligence, analytics, reporting, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience designing and delivering Power BI solutions for business stakeholders.
• Experience supporting both operational and executive-level reporting.
• Experience gathering requirements and delivering end-to-end reporting solutions.
• Experience working in large, complex data environments.
• Experience supporting reporting in a public-company environment or other setting requiring strong accuracy, governance, documentation, and executive-level visibility (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Convert and modernize legacy Web Intelligence (WebI) reports into interactive Power BI dashboards.
• Develop scalable reporting solutions that promote self-service analytics and data-driven decision making.
• Create and maintain data models, calculations, KPIs, and metrics within Power BI, ensuring clear definitions and consistent logic.
• Develop reporting that supports key optical retail and multi-unit performance metrics.
• Lead user acceptance testing, validation, and deployment activities for new reporting solutions.
• Partner with Data & Analytics teams to leverage semantic models, governed data sources, and enterprise data assets.
• Measure and improve dashboard adoption, usability, and business impact by partnering with users to refine solutions after launch.
