Job summary

Petco is seeking a strategic Business Intelligence Manager to lead a growing BI team within the Enterprise Analytics & Data Science Department. You will translate complex business requirements into scalable dashboards, govern KPIs, and partner with senior leaders to drive data-driven decisions across our retail operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Business Analytics, Computer Science or similar quantitative field.
• 5+ years in BI, Data Analytics, or a similar analytical field.
• 2+ years in a leadership or people-management role.
• Strong preference for omnichannel retail industry experience and a solid understanding of retail performance metrics.
• Proven expertise in governing and scaling enterprise BI platforms (MicroStrategy/Looker preferred).
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake/BigQuery).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, VBA).
• Expert-level Excel and Google Sheets skills.

• Lead the BI analysts team, guiding project planning and delivery.
• Design and deliver next-generation BI dashboards and reporting; ensure data accuracy across retail operations.
