Job summary

Brigham Young University in Provo, UT seeks a Business Intelligence Analyst for BYU Continuing Education. You’ll develop and maintain BI solutions, extract and transform data, and deliver reports using Tableau and Power BI to support data-driven decisions.

You’ll partner with directors and faculty, supervise student employees, create documentation, and train users while ensuring data governance and secure access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI or other BI tools.
• Ability to write complex level-of-detail expressions for accurate reporting.
• Strong data governance and confidentiality practices.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, organize, maintain, and improve analytics and visualization tools and reports.
• Supervise student employees and create technical documentation.
• Consult with CE directors, program managers, and BYU Online faculty to identify analytics needs.
• Present data and insights to stakeholders and train users of BI solutions.
• Assist with course assessments, accreditation Prep, and process documentation.
