Job summary

Henderson Brothers, Inc. is seeking a Sales Consultant in the Employee Benefits division to identify new clients and drive revenue growth in small to mid-size employer markets. The role serves as the sales lead from prospect to contract, including renewals and cross-sale opportunities.

You will manage the sales lifecycle, develop proposals, and present to clients while maintaining CRM records. Local travel is expected with some national travel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Employee Benefits sales experience.
• Life, Health, and Accident agency license required before hire.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employee benefits insurance principles and practices.
• Excellent communication skills (listening, speaking, writing).
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Identify new clients and initiate relationships to drive revenue growth in target markets.
• Lead the sales process from prospect to sale and renewal for accounts.
• Develop and present proposals and lead sales presentations using consultative selling.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and manage the sales pipeline.
• Seek cross-sale opportunities across departments.
• Manage lifecycle of sales process for employee benefits prospects.
• Travel as required (local and occasional national travel).
