Job summary

Henderson Brothers, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager to deliver heroic service for a book of small employer accounts (2–50 employees). You will collaborate with the Senior Consultant to execute health and welfare initiatives and manage all brokered benefit programs, serving as the day-to-day client contact.

The role emphasizes proactive service, clear communication, and strong organization. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with health license eligibility and HR benefits experience a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 1 year of employee benefits account management or HR experience with a benefits focus.
• CEBS, GBA, PHR, or SHRM-CP/SCP designation preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of employee health and welfare plans; strong policy understanding.

Responsibilities

• Manage ongoing service needs of client accounts in a proactive and effective manner.
• Create high quality client deliverables and develop strategic plans.
• Co-develop and manage health and welfare initiatives with the Senior Consultant.
• Lead program and vendor implementations and ongoing program management.
• Develop concise client communications and research escalated issues.
• Maintain knowledge of benefit plans and regulatory compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
