Job summary
Michael Page is seeking a strategic Benefits Manager to lead the benefits program for a complex, multi-state manufacturing organization. You will own health & welfare, retirement plans, vendor management, compliance, and team leadership, partnering with senior leadership to shape the employee value proposition.
Daily duties include open enrollment, broker relationships, data analysis, regulatory reporting, and team coaching.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience managing employee benefits programs.
- Experience supporting a geographically dispersed workforce.
- Experience within manufacturing environments.
- Ability to provide data-driven recommendations to executives.
Responsibilities
- Lead open enrollment activities and ongoing benefit program administration.
- Manage broker and carrier relationships to optimize plans and costs.
- Analyze benefits data and market trends to inform decisions.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and assist with audits and reporting.
- Develop employee communications and education initiatives.
- Coach and develop the benefits team to drive service excellence.
- Collaborate with Finance and HR leadership on cost management.
- Negotiate with vendors and present strategic recommendations to executives.
- Oversee and mentor a geographically distributed benefits team.
