Job summary

The role requires strong knowledge of ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, the ACA, and related regulations, with experience drafting benefits documents and collaborating with legal, HR, and finance teams to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of ERISA and the Internal Revenue Code.
• Deep understanding of the Affordable Care Act and related federal/state laws.
• Experience drafting and negotiating benefits-related agreements and documents.
• Experience collaborating with legal, HR, and finance teams on benefits administration and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Advise on broad employee benefits matters, including qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, health and welfare plans, and executive compensation.
• Conduct employee benefits due diligence and transition support in mergers and acquisitions.
• Draft and negotiate plan documents, service provider agreements, and employee communications.
• Collaborate with legal, HR, and finance teams on fiduciary and regulatory compliance matters.
