Job summary

Affinity Gaming, LLC is seeking a Benefits Manager to oversee medical, dental, vision, voluntary products, life, AD&D and 401(k) plans across the United States. This role operates independently as the subject matter expert ensuring administration aligns with the Summary Plan Documents and state and federal requirements.

The Benefits Manager uses HRIS to enroll, manage and administer plans, collaborates with brokers, processes open enrollment, COBRA and annual ACA filings, and maintains

Qualifications

• High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive situations and documentation.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration or closely related field; or 2-3 years HR benefits experience.
• Plus 2-year experience in a Benefits specific position where benefits is the primary function.

Responsibilities

• Daily Benefits Program Administration, including analysis of benefit programs and billing.
• Audit monthly medical, dental, vision and voluntary invoices across entities.
• Prepare and distribute information about benefits programs (insurance, 401(k), life).
• Administer COBRA and Qualified Medical Child Support Orders.
• Track Benefit DIA contributions related to FMLA/LOA and renewals with broker assistance.
• Assist with annual ACA filings and 1095/1094 production.
• Manage 401K related tasks: orders, payroll contributions, and audits.
• Annually review deduction codes with Payroll for compliance with state guidelines.
