Job summary

See’s Candies seeks a Benefits Manager to lead day‑to‑day benefits operations, vendor management, and compensation support. You will partner with Payroll, HRBPs, and Talent Acquisition to maintain accurate enrollments, open enrollment, and market pricing analyses.

The role requires strong analytical skills, Workday experience, and a deep understanding of U.S. and California benefits regulations to deliver an exceptional employee experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in benefits administration
• Minimum 3 years of compensation experience, including market pricing, salary analysis, and pay administration
• Strong knowledge of healthcare, retirement, and wellness programs
• Working knowledge of federal and California benefits regulations
• Experience administering HRIS and benefits systems (Workday preferred)
• Strong analytical and Excel skills

Responsibilities

• Benefits Administration & Employee Experience: Manage day-to-day administration of health, welfare, retirement, wellness, and voluntary benefit programs; serve as escalation point for inquiries; ensure enrollments and life events are processed; coordinate open enrollment; partner with Payroll on deductions; monitor eligibility and data integrity; develop employee communications.
• Compensation Support: Maintain salary structure; conduct market analyses; assist with offers and internal equity; support merit/incentive processes; prepare reports and analyses; maintain job descriptions and evaluations.
• Vendor Management & Program Administration: Act as day-to-day contact for carriers and administrators; monitor SLAs; assist with renewals and program changes; support budgeting and cost analyses.
• Reporting & Process Improvement: Develop benefits and compensation dashboards; analyze utilization and cost trends; identify inefficiencies and implement improvements; maintain policies and controls.
