Job summary

33 USA Inc. is seeking a results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive growth in North America. You will own revenue targets, oversee the sales pipeline, and partner with leadership to bridge Japanese content with the global market.

You will mentor junior BD leads, manage client relationships, and represent the company at industry events to expand the network with studios, publishers, and streaming platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Business Development, Account Management, or Sales in marketing agency/entertainment settings.
• Native-level English and Japanese.
• Track record of meeting/exceeding revenue targets (1M+ portfolio preferred).
• Solid understanding of US and Japanese entertainment markets and agency models.
• 2+ years leading or mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Strategic sales development and acquisition for the North American market.
• Oversee end-to-end sales pipeline from prospecting to closing with major clients.
• Negotiate complex partnerships including licensing, AOR, and joint ventures.
• Represent the company at key industry events to build a North American network.
• Act as senior advisor to key clients with long-term marketing consulting and brand strategy.
