Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
• 10+ years in business development, sales, or client-facing roles in engineering/technical environments.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering services and project delivery models.
• Proven track record of developing new business and hitting revenue targets.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience with public and/or private sector clients.
• Established industry network within the VA and NC markets.

Responsibilities

• Identify, pursue, and qualify new business opportunities within VA and NC markets.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through prospecting and relationships.
• Lead pursuit strategies and be involved in go/no-go decisions with clients.
• Build and sustain long-term client relationships and understand client needs.
• Support market analysis, competitive intelligence, and strategic planning.
• Attend industry events and represent the company professionally.
