Job summary

HGA’s San Francisco office seeks an experienced Business Development professional to drive pipeline growth and strengthen relationships across Northern California’s Science + Technology, Education and Arts markets.

You will partner with Principals and national leadership to advance opportunities, analyze market trends, and support strategic pursuits while collaborating across offices. Hybrid work with travel within Northern California.

Qualifications

10–15 years of experience in business development or strategic marketing within the A/E/C/Science & Technology sectors.
Demonstrated success in relationship-based BD and pursuit support, including higher education clients.

Responsibilities

Develop, prioritize, and advance a qualified pipeline with principals and leaders.
Support client targeting aligned with growth strategies and regional plans.
Coordinate engagement and ensure continuity across teams and geographies.
Monitor market trends and translate insights into targeting and go/no-go decisions.
Support full pursuit lifecycle from positioning to post-interview debriefs, with win strategies.
Coordinate conferences, thought leadership activities, and market visibility efforts.
Maintain accurate CRM data and track pipeline health and pursuits.
