Job summary

RINA is seeking a Business Development Director- Infrastructure & Mobility to drive North America revenue growth across NAM infrastructure and mobility projects from its Boston, Houston, or Chicago/Lisle offices. You will lead client development, strategy, and partnerships, focusing on deep client relationships and recurring work.

The role requires 10+ years in technical consulting, 5+ years in BD, and strong leadership. Travel up to 40-50% and a competitive compensation package are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance Management or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in technical consulting for Transportation and/or Infrastructure engineering projects.
• 5+ years of experience in business development or commercial sales.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing a sales or business development team.
• Extensive experience with driving and negotiating proposals.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on results and market trends.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are needed to communicate with all levels of the organization and external contacts.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and complete client development activities to generate new identified project opportunities and move those projects between the stages in the SBD process.
• Create and update client account plans that include activities to drive growth and demonstrate client advocacy and leadership on assigned accounts.
• Utilize personal network of industry professionals to augment RINA’s current network and provide additional source of industry knowledge, talent, and opportunity identification.
• Maintain relevant data in CRM for the repository of all clients, opportunities, and client interactions.
• Meet or exceed net sales targets (booked work under contract) established during various business planning efforts throughout the year.
• Enhance brand visibility in the NAM market through networking, promotional activities, and conferences/exhibitions to support development of opportunities.
