Job summary

RINA is seeking a Business Development Director- Infrastructure & Mobility to drive North America revenue, focusing on client development, account planning, and strategic partnerships. The role supports key markets across Boston, Houston, and Chicago/Lisle with a strong emphasis on long-term profitability.

The incumbent will lead a team of BD professionals, manage proposals, and collaborate with marketing and leadership to secure high-value opportunities. Travel up to 40-50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years of experience in technical consulting for Transportation and/or Infrastructure engineering projects.
• National recognition as an expert in transportation.
• 5+ years in business development or commercial sales.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing a sales or business development team.
• Extensive experience with driving and negotiating proposals.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel 40-50%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement NAM commercial sales strategy to drive growth.
• Lead a structured team of Business Development professionals.
• Create and update client account plans for growth and client advocacy.
• Maintain CRM data for clients, opportunities, and interactions.
• Meet or exceed net sales targets established in planning efforts.
• Enhance NAM brand visibility through networking, promotions, conferences, and exhibitions.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance Management or related field
