Job summary

Communications & Power Industries (CPI) in Plano, Texas is seeking a Business Development Director to lead new business opportunities within the Government sector. You will drive capture efforts, develop strategies, and close contracts in collaboration with engineering, contracts, operations, and leadership.

The role requires deep domain knowledge in SATCOM and ground infrastructure, executive communication skills, and a proven record of winning U.S. Government and commercial contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
• Proven success in winning U.S. Government and commercial contracts.
• 10+ years in business development or sales.
• Experience leading large pursuits through capture phases.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Drive bookings and revenue growth by identifying new opportunities and closing deals.
• Lead capture efforts with cross-functional teams.
• Manage strategic accounts and partnerships.
