Candidates should have a BS in Engineering, Science, or Business with 8+ years in defense/aerospace business development, DoD exposure, and the ability to obtain DoD clearance. 100% onsite with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or Business (Advanced degree preferred).
• 8+ years of proven business development and customer-facing experience in defense, aerospace, or advanced tech.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead external liaison to build and maintain high-trust relationships with government agencies and industry partners.
• Shape the market by interfacing with prospective clients to identify gaps and align CFD Research capabilities.
• Represent CFD Research at conferences, agency symposiums, and customer visits to enhance brand visibility.
• Identify and establish strategic teaming, subcontracts, and joint ventures with primes and partners.
• Lead customer engagement strategies during pre-RFP phases to influence requirements and maximize win probability.
• Oversee internal proposal development with pipeline metrics and capture activities.
