Footprint is seeking an experienced Business Development Director to lead growth across consumer products and packaging markets from its Gilbert, AZ base. Qualifications

• Experience in business development, sales, or commercial leadership within consumer products, packaging, manufacturing, or related industry.
• Proven ability to develop new business and deliver revenue growth.
• Strong network of relationships within consumer products, packaging, retail, or related industries.
• Experience selling complex solutions with multiple stakeholders and longer sales cycles.
• Proven ability to build relationships with C-suite and executive-level decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic business development plans aligned with company revenue and profitability objectives.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across targeted consumer products and packaging markets.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through strategic prospecting, networking, referrals, industry relationships, and events.
• Lead complex sales opportunities from initial engagement through solution development, negotiation, contract execution, and implementation.
• Identify opportunities to expand Footprint's customer base, market presence, and revenue potential.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and primary commercial contact for prospective strategic customers.
• Develop a deep understanding of customer business objectives, challenges, and market priorities.
