Job summary

ANSER is seeking an Energy Storage and Battery Industrial Base Analyst to support the Industrial Base Analysis and Sustainment (IBAS) program within the Office of the Assistant Secretary of War for Industrial Base Policy (IBP). In this role, you will provide technical, strategic, and programmatic expertise to strengthen the U.S.

industrial base for advanced battery technologies and energy storage systems by evaluating manufacturing capabilities, supply chain resilience, and emerging technologies

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in a technical field relevant to DoD/industrial base.
Minimum 3 years in DoD/defense, industrial base, or critical technology programs.

Responsibilities

Assess U.S. and allied industrial base for various battery technologies.
Evaluate battery material supply chains and identify gaps in domestic production.
Support IBAS, DPA and related initiatives focused on battery manufacturing and energy storage.
Prepare executive briefings, white papers, and RFIs for senior leadership.
Coordinate with government, industry, labs, and academia on battery technology initiatives.
