LMI is seeking a Project Lead to support the Industrial Base Analysis and Sustainment program (IBAS) under OASW(IBP). This hybrid role requires residing in the Washington, DC area within commutable distance to the client in Alexandria, VA, with potential short-notice visits.

An active SECRET clearance with ability to obtain TOP SECRET is required. The position focuses on kinetic capabilities OIB, coordinating with DoW, services, and contractors to address industrial base challenges.

Qualificações

• Active SECRET clearance with ability to obtain TOP SECRET.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, defense studies, public policy, or supply chain management (master's preferred).
• 5+ years of experience supporting DoW acquisition, industrial base analysis, logistics, or defense manufacturing.
• Knowledge of the OIB, including Army depots, arsenals, ammunition plants, naval shipyards, and Air Logistics Complexes.
• Experience with kinetic weapon systems, munitions production, or weapons sustainment.
• Familiarity with defense acquisition, industrial base policy, and modernization initiatives.
• Exceptional analytical and communication skills with ability to distill complex issues into clear reports.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as Project Lead on kinetic capabilities organic industrial base (OIB) portfolio.
• Analyze health, capacity, and modernization needs of the DoW OIB supporting kinetic weapon systems, munitions, and precision fires.
• Assess production capabilities, manufacturing constraints, workforce readiness, and supply chain risks affecting government-owned facilities.
• Develop strategies to strengthen surge capacity, resilience, and sustainment of kinetic capabilities.
• Coordinate with DoW, military services, defense contractors, and other agencies to address industrial base challenges.
• Prepare executive briefings and strategic assessments for senior leaders.
