Job summary

Lake Shore Bank in Western New York seeks a Business Development Officer & Relationship Manager to expand commercial, municipal, and nonprofit banking relationships. You will generate new deposits, promote treasury management solutions, and partner with retail, lending, marketing, and operations to drive growth.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years in banking or relationship management, with strong communication and CRM skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, or related field or equivalent banking experience.
• Three to five years of banking or relationship management experience.
• Strong knowledge of deposit products, treasury management, digital banking, and CRM practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a consistent pipeline of new business prospects across commercial, municipal, non-profit, and professional services clients.
• Promote deposit, cash management, lending referrals, merchant services, digital banking, and treasury management capabilities.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by identifying needs and coordinating internal resources.
• Serve as a consultative resource for cash flow improvement, fraud risk control, and secure transactions.
• Partner with branch managers and teams to identify opportunities and improve retention.
• Coordinate with lending, operations, marketing, and senior management to onboard and support relationships.
• Maintain awareness of market trends and competitor offerings to position the bank effectively.
• Represent the bank at community events to strengthen brand visibility and referrals.
