onsemi is seeking a highly driven sourcing manager to lead Backend Sourcing within the Procurement organization, based in Scottsdale, AZ or San Jose, CA. You will drive category strategies, manage OSAT and backend supplier relationships, and align with product roadmaps to deliver cost, quality, and supply security.

The role requires 10+ years in semiconductor backend sourcing, strong leadership, and proven negotiation capabilities to optimize supplier performance across regions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of semiconductor backend sourcing, assembly and test manufacturing, packaging, substrates, or related fields.
• Proven experience leading teams and managing complex projects across global, matrixed organizations.
• Strong track record negotiating assembly, test, packaging, substrate, capacity, and complex commercial agreements.
• Deep understanding of backend economics, package/test technologies, manufacturing flows, and supplier cost drivers.

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach, and develop a sourcing team for backend semiconductor services.
• Develop and execute category and supplier strategies aligned with corporate objectives and roadmaps.
• Manage relationships with OSAT, substrate, test, and backend suppliers across regions.
• Negotiate agreements that secure supply, quality, and competitive cost while mitigating risk.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate demand forecasts into capacity plans and NPI support.
