Job summary

Ascend Staffing is seeking a motivated Sales Manager / Inside/Outside Sales professional to drive new business in the staffing industry. You will lead high-volume outbound outreach, prospect in target markets, and own the full sales cycle from discovery to closing.

The role emphasizes increasing gross profit, with training, tools, and opportunities for advancement. Expect field travel, client meetings, and occasional overtime as part of a dynamic sales team environment.

Qualifications

• High-volume outbound sales experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to prospect, discovery, and close with strong negotiation skills.
• Experience with CRM tools and managing pipeline.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate new B2B staffing opportunities through outbound outreach.
• Set qualified appointments in assigned territories.
• Move prospects through discovery, proposals, negotiations, and closing.
• Maintain CRM records with lead status and meeting outcomes.
• Collaborate with leaders to attend client meetings and proposals.
• Track weekly activity metrics and meet targets.
• Complete 3–4 hours of sales development training weekly.
