Job summary

TDS Telecom is seeking an Account Manager to manage an existing customer base, grow revenues, and acquire new business in a defined market. The role emphasizes retention, upsell, and proactive solution selling with uncapped monthly commissions.

Location: Saint Mary’s, Georgia. You’ll renew contracts, respond to RFPs, and build loyalty while leveraging TDS solutions to meet customer needs in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience.
• 2+ years of inside or outside sales experience.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, insurance, and have access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing account base by regularly contacting accounts (via phone and in person), acting as their resource for sales negotiations, and meeting or exceed the sales and revenue growth goals.
• Actively manage the existing base to ensure we retain customers and reduce market churn; educate on industry, technology and TDS products and services.
• Create proposals, write, and submit accurate and timely new orders; manage MACD to the existing customer base.
• Develop a tactical sales plan for prospecting, customer growth and retention; use CRM for activity tracking and forecasts.
• Attend industry and trade group meetings and local events to increase corporate visibility and opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
