Job summary

TDS Telecom is seeking an Account Manager to manage and grow a commercial book of business in Saint Mary’s, Georgia. You’ll handle existing customers, pursue new business and respond to RFPs to drive revenue growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience.
• 2+ years inside or outside sales experience.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, insurance, and have access to reliable transportation.
• Telecommunications experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing account base by regularly contacting accounts, acting as their resource for sales negotiations, and meeting or exceed the sales and revenue growth goals.
• Focus on market share growth by prospecting and selling new businesses; build relationships with prospective customers to obtain appointments and close sales.
• Create proposals, write and submit accurate and timely new orders; manage MACD to the existing customer base.
• Develop a tactical sales plan for prospecting, customer growth and retention to meet sales goals and maintain CRM activity.
