Job summary
RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an AVP of Nursing Workforce and Resource Strategy to lead enterprise nursing workforce planning and resource stewardship across the system. Reporting to the System Chief Nursing Officer, you will partner with HR, Finance, and nursing leadership to advance recruitment, retention, and workforce sustainability.
A typical day includes developing strategies with executives, analyzing workforce data to inform decisions, and collaborating on innovative care delivery models
Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Active New Jersey nursing license.
- Demonstrated leadership experience (at least 5 years) in healthcare leadership environments.
- Ability to translate workforce insights into actionable recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Partner with System Chief Nurse Executive, HR, Finance, and nursing leaders to develop enterprise workforce strategies.
- Analyze workforce trends, staffing analytics, and labor market insights to optimize resources.
- Collaborate to design innovative care delivery models, staffing solutions, and deployment strategies.
- Advise executive leadership on nursing labor strategy and related regulatory/financial implications.
- Coordinate with Finance, Legal, HR, and site leaders on resource allocation and workforce investments.
- Lead enterprise initiatives advancing workforce innovation and sustainable practices.
