The Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Nursing Workforce and Resource Strategy serves as the corporate nursing leader responsible for enterprise nursing workforce planning, care model design, and resource stewardship across the system. Reporting to the System Chief Nursing Officer and in partnership with Human Resources, and nursing leadership, this role develops and advances strategies that strengthen recruitment, retention, workforce sustainability, labor readiness, and financial stewardship in alignment with organizational goals.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must possess a master's degree in a related field and maintain an active New Jersey nursing license. The ideal candidate will bring demonstrated leadership experience (at least 5 years) within professional organizations, committees, councils, or healthcare leadership environments, with a proven ability to influence strategy and drive collaboration across diverse stakeholders. Successful candidates will have experience developing workforce strategies, analyzing operational and staffing data, and partnering with nursing, Human Resources, Finance, Legal, and operational leaders to address complex workforce challenges. The ability to translate workforce insights into actionable recommendations is essential. Board certification in a nursing specialty is strongly preferred.
