Job summary

Burnett Staffing Specialists seeks a Controller for an automotive dealership. The Controller will establish accounting systems and supervise the accounting department to ensure accurate financial reporting, adherence to policies, and strong internal controls within the dealership.

Experience in the automotive dealership industry is required. CDK/ADP and DMS knowledge are preferred, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required; CPA preferred.
• Automotive dealership industry experience required.
• DMS knowledge (CDK/ADP preferred).
• Proficiency with MS Office including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting operations of dealership including timely financial reporting and compliance.
• Maintain internal controls and safeguard assets and data.
• Oversee cash flow, bank reconciliations, and accounts receivable.
• Prepare financial statements and support audits.
