Job summary

Panasonic Automotive Systems America, LLC is seeking a Purchasing / Supply Chain professional to manage repair parts planning, supplier negotiations, and cost analysis. You will coordinate with program management, engineering, and finance to ensure on-time delivery and accurate invoicing.

The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent vendor relationships, and experience with automotive supply chains.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in management, business, operations or related field with 1 year purchasing or supply chain experience.
Proven experience in materials analytics.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to develop/manage relationships with suppliers and internal departments.
Automotive industry purchasing experience strongly desired.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Windows-based databases.

Responsibilities

Analyze customer demand and create short-term forecasts to plan coverage and issue purchase orders to suppliers.
Coordinate with program management and engineering to ensure on-time delivery of finished goods and repair parts.
Monitor product lifecycle to aid demand analysis and select trends.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to improve parts supply and overall performance.
Attend weekly customer meetings to report PO status and support action items.
