Panasonic Automotive Systems Company of America seeks an experienced Global Sourcing Leader to develop and execute nationwide and worldwide supplier strategies. You will drive supplier selection, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring cost efficiency and innovation while mitigating risk.

The role requires a strong track record in negotiations, supplier development, and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of global sourcing, procurement, or supply chain experience.
• Strong negotiation and contract management experience at a global level.
• Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), or APICS certification preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office 365, and data analytics tools.
• Experience in cost modeling, supplier performance management, and risk mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Owns and drives global supplier selection, development, and supplier relationship management.
• Develops and executes global commodity sourcing strategies to reduce total cost of ownership.
• Leads high-level contract negotiations and complex supplier agreements.
• Identifies cost-saving opportunities and aligns with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
• Establishes strategic partnerships with suppliers to drive innovation and align with roadmaps.
• Leads and mentors junior buyers and collaborates with cross-functional teams.
• Ensures adherence to policies, regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
