First Horizon Bank is seeking a Deputy Chief Audit Executive to support the CAE in directing the Internal Audit Department. The role leads audit managers and staff, shaping the annual audit plan, and ensuring high audit quality and reporting.

The DCAE will interact with executive management and the Audit Committee to discuss control effectiveness and risk areas, driving risk-based audit strategies in a regulated financial environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years progressively responsible experience in public accounting and/or internal auditing including 7 years direct management experience.
• 4+ years recent experience as a senior level auditor or regulator at a bank with assets >$100B.
• Certification in CPA, CIA, CISA or equivalent within 24 months of hire.
• Strong knowledge of auditing principles and practices.
