Job summary

Aggreko IPP Division is seeking an Associate General Counsel based in Stamford, CT to provide strategic legal support across North American IPP operations. You will partner with the IPP leadership, commercial, finance, operations and project management teams to ensure contract strength and business alignment.

You will draft and negotiate PPAs, EPCs, O&Ms, NDAs, land leases and other agreements, oversee project financing and tax equity structures, and guide governance, compliance and outside

Qualifications

JD from an accredited US law school and bar admission in at least one state.
6–10 years in complex commercial law with focus on IPP, data center or energy projects.
Experience with project financing, tax equity financing and regulatory matters.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic legal support to Aggreko IPP Division for NA operations.
Draft and review PPAs, EPCs, O&M, GTSAs, NDAs, land leases and related docs.
Advise on project financing, tax equity, SPVs and governance.
Manage outside counsel, budgets and relationships.
Train colleagues on relevant legal developments and best practices.
