Job summary

Aggreko in Stamford, CT seeks an Associate General Counsel for the Aggreko IPP Division. You will be the primary legal partner to the IPP leadership, providing strategic legal support across North American IPP operations, and collaborating with commercial, finance, operations and project management teams.

Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating PPAs, EPCs, NDAs, land leases, MOUs, and tender documents, as well as managing project financing and tax equity structures.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited US law school and bar admission in at least one US state.
• Experience with complex commercial matters in IPP, microgrid, data center, and project financing.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal support to the IPP leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Draft and review PPAs, EPCs, O&Ms, NDAs, land leases, LOIs, MOUs, tenders and vendor agreements.
• Oversee project financing, tax equity, SPV structures and entity formations.
• Ensure contracts protect Aggreko and align with market norms and business needs.
• Manage outside counsel, budgets and relationships; drive governance and compliance.
