Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a highly experienced engineer to support DoD airborne communications programs. This remote US role requires a Secret clearance, US citizenship, and a strong background in DoD concepts, acquisition processes, and military comms.

Proximity to DC is preferred but location is remote. The candidate will develop, forecast, and capture opportunities while interfacing with program management, engineering and DoD subject matter experts.

Qualifications

• Requires university degree with 12+ years experience or advanced degree with 10+ years.
• Active and transferable U.S. government secret clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required for clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead DoD related programs with program mgmt and engineering leads.
• Develop, forecast, and capture new opportunities in military airborne comms.
• Engage DoD stakeholders and senior personnel to drive growth and acquisition.
• Analyze market and competitive landscape to support strategic reviews.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams to pursue opportunities.
