Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an experienced cyber engineer to advance cybersecurity research for connected platforms within the Applied Research & Technology group. You will lead technical development activities and guide multi-disciplinary teams in threat analysis, reverse engineering, and vulnerability research.

This U.S.-based role requires DoD clearance, citizenship, and willingness to travel about 10%.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with at least 2 years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience with embedded systems, industrial control systems, or operational technology.
• Experience in cybersecurity research and collaboration with partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead novel cybersecurity R&D projects across hardware, software, and systems.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and evaluate security technologies.
• Demonstrate technologies to customers and assist government-sponsored research programs.
• Prepare proposals and contribute to government-funded research initiatives.
