Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Education, Higher Education, Psychology, Student Affairs, or similar).
• Eight years of experience in higher education, academic programming, student success initiatives, or related field.
• A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Director in strategic planning and oversight of the Academic Recovery program.
• Directs strategy and oversight for implementation of academic recovery courses (UNIV 2001, UNIV 3001) and related student support services.
• Develops and implements techniques for evaluating program activities and student learning outcomes.
• Establishes goals and objectives for program improvement and student engagement.
• Oversees budget expenditures and assists in budget development for the program.
• Represents the Academic Recovery program to senior leadership and collaborates with campus units.

Education
