Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong experience in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and monthly financial close processes.
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements.
• Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, or accounting team management experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting or financial management systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain accuracy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, billing, AR, collections, AP, cash receipts, and trust accounting.
• Lead and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Review financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for accuracy.
• Ensure integrity of financial records and compliance with accounting standards and controls.
• Provide financial analysis to CFO and identify variances and cost-saving opportunities.
• Supervise and develop accounting personnel and establish clear expectations.
