Job summary

Macy's Bloomingdale’s division seeks an Asset Protection Manager to lead the loss prevention program in the assigned store. The role drives shortage reduction, oversees AP/LP efforts, and partners with store leadership to safeguard assets and maintain a safe shopping environment.

The position requires strong leadership, 3–5 years related experience, and a track record of implementing effective AP programs across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university.
• 3–5 years related experience.
• Excellent communication skills; able to work with all levels of management.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead AP/LP efforts and shortage reduction within the store.
• Recruit, train, and develop asset protection staff; enforce policies.
• Build partnerships with store teams, central AP, and law enforcement.
• Drive shortage action plans and store-specific reduction strategies.
• Audit compliance with cash handling, receiving, and security standards.
• Identify and communicate risks due to non-compliance and process gaps.
