Job summary

Lonza in Pearland, TX is seeking an Asset Controller to provide financial and analytical support for the site. You will work with local teams to drive performance, manage monthly close, and ensure alignment with IFRS and corporate policies.

The role requires strong analytical capabilities, ERP proficiency (SAP/BW/Hyperion), and collaboration with senior leadership to support pricing, forecasting, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Familiar with IFRS and global accounting principles.
• Experience partnering with senior leadership.
• ERP (SAP, BW, Hyperion) knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support Head of Finance in analysis and strategy.
• Lead local and regional management teams to set objectives.
• Handle financial and management accounting per FAM and IFRS.
• Develop KPIs for cost controlling and oversee month-end close.
• Coordinate with site and service center teams for forecasts and reporting.
• Act as a local business partner for pricing and negotiations.
