Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in a senior finance role.
• Solid experience with SAP and month-end close processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage asset base from the financial perspective (capitalizations, impairments, asset tags, etc.).
• Support month-end close, primarily focused on the balance sheet, including all accruals related to inventory aging and obsolescence, plus support for auditors
• Develop deep understanding of the ERP (SAP) to troubleshoot issues related to inventory or transactional errors
• Maintain standard costing in ERP system for internal production
• Support MP&L with routings and BOMs in ERP, ensuring accuracy from the financial perspective
• Develop and maintain reports to provide visibility to plant leadership on inventory trends (mainly Spare Parts)

Assists the Plant Controller with capital expenditure tracking, asset accounting, physical inventories, month end close, annual budgeting and forecasting, product costing, monthly commentary and support of external auditor requests.
