You will manage insurance follow-up, denial resolution, and AR aging, collaborating with payer and internal teams to optimize reimbursement, reduce aging, and meet cash goals. Strong Excel and healthcare billing software skills are required.

Qualifikationen

• Experience posting and tracking payments, insurance collections, denial management, appeals processing, researching payment discrepancies across the revenue cycle.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems with accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and healthcare billing software applications.

Aufgaben

• Handle and resolve all insurance follow up and denial issues to ensure correct reimbursements.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Review AR aging report and explain past due balances to management.
• Work aged accounts on assigned payers prioritizing timely filing denial risk.
• Escalate exhausted appeals efforts for resolution with payer.
• Perform Revenue Cycle duties as directed by supervisor.
